Congratulations if you are engaged! It’s the day after Valentine’s Day and whilst you will no doubt be very busy looking at potential wedding venues we thought we would give you a little extra help in choosing a unique venue to hold your wedding vows. These wedding venues are where some of the rich and famous took their wedding vows…and well, if it’s good enough for them…
In the sixties it was Paul McCartney, in the 80’s Ringo Starr and then Liam Gallagher wed both of his wives here. Most recently Paul McCartney was back again to marry his current wife Nancy Shevell. This place is the epitome of cool and must have some magic about it if the stars keep returning!
A central London location, rich in history with stunning architecture this is certainly a place to consider.
Unfortunately The Old Marylebone Town Hall is currently closed for refurbishment but will re open in early 2018, the Town Hall will resume its long history as one of the most iconic wedding and ceremony venues in the heart of London.
According to the Town Hall ‘From January 2018, the newly refurbished building will be available for weddings, civil partnerships and vow renewals.’
We say – If you have time on your side seriously consider putting your name down here!

The Church where Kate Moss exchanged vows with Jamie Hince. St Peter’s in Southrop is in a pretty village where it caused uproar with the public after roads were closed here for the wedding in 2011. The village of Little Farringdon in Oxfordshire was also permit only as the party continued in the grounds at Kate’s country home for three days.
St Peter’s Church is a Grade 1 Listed Building by English Heritage and is an active parish church in the Church of England.
We say – Contact the church directly. There is also a good choice of gorgeous venues in the Cotswold’s to continue the celebrations.

Elton John and David Furnish had their civil partnership here in the intimate Ascot room in 2005, as did Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall for their marriage the same year.
This is a grand and stylish 17th Century, Grade 1 listed venue in the heart of Windsor with royal paintings and chandeliers on loan from Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth. The interiors are beautiful – this is certainly a venue to impress.
